The final declaration of the First Tour Operators Forum of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Member States was signed during a roundtable discussion on the second day of the event, held on May 2-3 in Baku, co-organized by the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan and ECO.

The declaration outlines key commitments to expanding cooperation in tourism development across the ECO region, promoting the cultural heritage of member states, organizing familiarization trips, attracting foreign tourists to the region, and developing new tourism products along the historic Silk Road. It also emphasizes the importance of establishing a continuous dialogue among tourism industry representatives within ECO’s tour operator network, as well as strengthening efforts toward the creation of the ECO Tourism Agencies Federation.

Additionally, B2B (business-to-business) meetings were held among tour operators from member states, during which bilateral cooperation memorandums were signed between Azerbaijani tour operators and their counterparts from Iran and Pakistan.
